Our missions

ISIT LEGAL CLINIC was founded in 2018 by Agata de Laforcade, Academic Director of the Department of Law, Languages and Intercultural Issues at ISIT, and the lawyer-linguist students that follow a double degree program in partnership with the Panthéon-Assas University, and the Paris-Saclay University

ISIT LEGAL CLINIC aims to bring together a community of interest around jurilinguistic projects in collaboration with international organizations, jurisdictions, companies, non-governmental organizations, law firms and other organizations.

Mandatory projects

Students work on different projects throughout the academic year. They are divided into groups of 4 or 5 lawyer-linguist students (3rd, 4th or 5th-year students). Each group is supervised by a professional and/or a teacher who provides professional and pedagogical support. At the end of the academic year, students present their work in a presentation to a panel of professors and professionals. By participating in the various projects, the students are graded and gain ECTS credits.

The student association

In addition to the mandatory projects carried out within the curriculum, students can further get involved on a voluntary basis, starting from the first year. Our main objective in the student association is to set up a cooperation between lawyer-linguist students, while still preparing them for their professional life.
